The 'Kabaragoya', Karandana, Sri Lanka.




The 'Kabaragoya' -S, is called the 'crocodile living on land' by the Sinhalese. It has a powerful tail with which it can inflict severe injury. It is seen quite often on unfrequented roads in present Sri Lanka.
