After the Registration of the marriage and the wedding reception, the bride and groom go away for a few days. They are then escorted to the Bride-groom's house with a few house-hold essentials like an almyra - cupboard, a pestle and mortar, a broom, a few items of furniture etc., froom the Bride's house.
