Sithulpawwa, Sri Lanka.

'Sithulpawwa' is a famous site of Buddhist meditation with a history going back to the 2nd Century BC. It is an area of trees and rocks with the ocean breeze fanning it. Numerous rock caves have been donated to the monks by rulers of this area. These donations are recorded in rock cuttings called 'Sel-lipi'. The carvings have used 'Brahmi' lettering.
