The climb to Kadugannawa on the Colombo - Kandy road, Sri Lanka.

The old 'Ambalama' where travelers would rest their weary bodies.

Till the 1980s this building with the adjoining waterfall and tea-boutique was the only place where vehicles stopped on the climb. A bath in the waterfall and meals followed by the road side.
